Thought you might enjoy it…we’ve come a long way since then! But it’s fun to see how things started out and hundreds of people have seen this video so that’s pretty cool. What do you think, is it too cheesy? :) You can be honest!  Even the OLD cover design of my very first hair bows course is shown at the end.  The graphics have certainly come a long way since then too.  How exciting to know that I still have customers returning to purchase new courses that I come out with a few times a year that have been with me since early 2009!

It’s over 1 million views and has tons of comments and likes! I wanted to be sure to share it with you in case you hadn’t stumbled across it yet. It’s obvious that people LOVE simple and fun hair bows that can be made in about 5 minutes with just a few basic supplies.

I do use a hot glue gun (high temp version) because I feel that bonds ribbon the best and also allows the project to dry the quickest. Feel free to experiment with other types of craft glue like E6000 but the smell is a bit overwhelming and it does take quite some time to dry which is annoying when you want to complete a bow in just a few minutes.

They are also called spikes, but it is the same thing. This is a layer that is added behind your main hairbow to surround it with spikes of ribbon.

You can use these sprays for a layer of a stacked boutique hair bow which are a very popular type of girls bow.

Sprays typically use a 5/8 inch wide ribbon (or wider). You can choose how many pieces of ribbon you want to use for them. Decide whether you want them to completely surround the main bow or if you’d just prefer to have a few on the left and right sides of the center. I also love the craft supplies at Hobby Lobby and really wish they had one closer to where I live!

This bow has been called tuxedo type hair bow and also can be used as a dog bow.  There are really many ways you can use it!  Teens love this style bow too since it’s very popular right now and so simple to create.
